Pressure Testing

Testing of pipe fittings and plumbing fixtures can determine what failed and how.

Using up to 250 psi of water, we tested these stainless steel fittings to help determine if a steam leak was from manufacturing defects or installation errors.

Using water, we cycled these drinking faucets to help determine how they caused water damage to a building.

We can also test with compressed air or natural gas to determine the pressure change and rate of flow through equipment, including regulators, nozzles, and compressors.  This testing is often useful in determining if that piece of equipment was the real culprit in the cause of a fire.
